Licensing
Trail geometry, elevation and land-manager information each come from somewhere, under a licence. Some of those licences require us to say so, and all of them are worth knowing when you're deciding how much to trust a number.

Attribution is mandatory wherever the geometry appears, and share-alike applies to derived geodata. OSM-derived geometry stays in its own clearly attributed layer and is not commingled with proprietary derived data.

No attribution required. Credited anyway, because knowing where a closure notice came from is part of judging it.

Licence and termsRead straight from the catalogue rather than written down here, so it cannot drift away from what is actually being served. Every trail carries its own source and licence — the database will not accept one without them.

Images are licensed separately and credited individually — photographer, licence and source for every photograph.
Distances and climb figures are computed from the trail line and the elevation model, not copied from another app. They will not always agree with one you have used before — different sources, different smoothing. Where a figure is seed data rather than importer output, the table above says so.
